Our staff is an integral part of our team. We expect and encourage our staff to work cooperatively with each other, and with our lawyers, all with the goal of providing the highest quality legal work and exceptional client service. Our staff is particularly knowledgeable and experienced – many of them have been with us for a decade or far more.
We currently have five highly qualified paralegals, doing litigation support, real estate, estate and trust planning and administration, and business work, ranging from simple title searches, to probate and trust administration, to management of complex class action litigation. One of our paralegals has achieved the prestigious PACE Registered Paralegal designation through the National Federation of Paralegal Associations, which only six others in Vermont have accomplished.
Our legal assistants are well-informed of the matters on which the lawyers are working, and often can assist clients if a lawyer is unavailable. They provide accurate, dependable, and high quality support to our lawyers and clients. Many of them perform paralegal work as well.
Our staff is headed by our Firm Administrator, Richard Dorfman. Our IT managers ensure that we have the latest in document management and litigation support technology. Our two bookkeepers can assist clients with any billing questions they may have. And our receptionists — like the rest of our staff — are friendly, helpful, and courteous.
