Demystifying Estate Administration: What does it mean to be an Executor or Trustee?

Most people who are named to serve as Executor or Trustee don't learn what is involved until they are thrown into the situation at their loved one's death.  Langrock attorney Suzanna Miller will present at two separate events in the next couple weeks. These talks are for anyone who expects to be named to serve in one of these roles, and for those wanting to make their own estate plan easier for those they name as Executor.  Topics covered will include the following: an overview of the steps involved in administering an estate; what probate is and when is it needed; and ways to plan for avoiding probate. The first talk is this Saturday, March 14, at 10 a.m., at the North Ferrisburgh Methodist Church, and the second is next Wednesday, April 1, at 1:00 p.m. at the Charlotte Senior Center. The events are free and open to all.
