Burlington Office Tom’s practice focuses primarily on representing injured parties in medical malpractice, products liability, wrongful death, and recreational injury cases. He also represents defendants in white-collar criminal defense cases. Tom has been recognized as a leading personal injury lawyer in The Best Lawyers in America®. An active member of associations within the legal profession, Tom has served as a State Delegate to, and is on the Board of Governors of, the American Association for Justice. He is also a past president and member of Board of Governors of the Vermont Trial Lawyers Association, member of the Board of Managers of the Vermont Bar Association, member of the Board of Directors of the Vermont Criminal Defense Association, and past president of the Chittenden County Bar Association. Tom has also been elected as a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. Membership in The Fellows is limited to one-third of one percent of lawyers in America. Tom lives in Shelburne with his wife and son. In his spare time he coaches his son’s athletic teams, runs, and skis. |
