James W. Swift

Jim joined Langrock Sperry & Wool in 1982. His practice includes representation of plaintiffs in personal injury and wrongful death actions. He has extensive experience with cases in the following areas: automobile accidents, ski area liability, premises liability, fire and farming accidents. Jim also regularly represents clients in construction disputes, estate litigation, and debtor-creditor disputes.

Jim is a seventh-generation native of Vermont with extensive ties to boards and organizations in the Middlebury community. When not practicing law, he can usually be found coaching local youth teams at the hockey rink.
