Burlington Office Eric joined Langrock Sperry & Wool in 1994. The primary focus of his practice is commercial transactions and commercial real estate. Eric represents clients in matters involving business acquisitions and sales, business start-ups and formations, commercial financing, secured transactions, and the purchase, sale, financing, leasing, and development of commercial real estate. Eric’s clients include small business owners as well as large Vermont and out-of-state businesses. Eric has been recognized as a leading lawyer in Vermont for his real estate practice by both Chambers USA America’s Leading Lawyers for Business and The Best Lawyers in America®. Among recent transactions, Eric acted as legal counsel to Sport Illustrated Senior Writer Alexander Wolff in launching the Vermont Frost Heaves, a professional basketball franchise based in Burlington and Barre and playing in the American Basketball Association. Eric is a Burlington area native and resides in South Burlington with his wife and three children. He serves as a member of the South Burlington Development Review Board and enjoys being a baseball coach for South Burlington Youth Baseball. You can often find Eric playing pick-up basketball at the YMCA, but look for him on the roads as he now pursues a new sport—marathon running. |
